WELCOME TO BURNSIDE
CAMILLA AND MARC is honoured to introduce our first South Australian flagship boutique in Burnside Village, Adelaide. Designed by Creative Director Camilla Freeman-Topper and CEO Marc Freeman in collaboration with long-standing architectural partners Akin Atelier, the space is an extension of the brands ethos - to create artful, elevated design with a sense of connection.
The boutique champions slow design, with every detail intentionally chosen to create a calming, home-like environment. A muted colour palette, subdued lighting, and custom fixtures invite guests to explore the collections in a gallery-like setting.
Among the artwork and vintage furniture highlights are a 1970s Cassina lounge chair located in the fitting rooms, featuring original brown leather upholstery and tubular chrome frames. In the lounge space, aluminium and mohair sofas from the 1970s create a tactile, grounding moment for guests. A hand-carved rouge wall sculpture, crafted from a single block of marble, serves as both an artwork and a raw, textural centrepiece. Completing the curation is a limited-edition aluminium tile work that plays with light, shadow, and reflection.

Upon entry, visitors are greeted by an atmosphere that echoes the tones of the Australian landscape - earthy, textural, and considered. Carefully curated furnishings speak to a philosophy of circularity and timelessness.
